The intuitive technology
HydraByte, Inc. is an emerging international IT company that is currently developing several Web-based services with which to enhance the access and transfer of information over the Internet. With its expertise in data-mining, HydraByte has developed a wave of algorithms to surf the World Wide Web in budding a new form of cyberspace. These include the ^Byte crawler, Legion, and the ^Cursor among others.
With the aid of the ^Cursor in particular, HydraByte seeks to spawn the collaborative contribution of everyday Internet users in creating the very first community-built search engine called C^ret (the name of the symbol ^ is pronounced caret). The C^ret engine will not just simply retrieve searches more efficiently by displaying them in a semantic categorical presentation, but it will also indulge the user with new eye candy features and a more amusingly efficient interactive experience, not to mention accrediting those who contributed.
Beyond catering to search inquiries though, HydraByte has also developed a semi-community-built web content filter called Bhave while crafting a new generation data-messaging system that complements e-mails as well, called Bhive. The Bhive system in essence enables users to voluntarily submit the unused storage capacities of their own electronic devices and thereafter access them globally via any web connection. Users can choose what to drag and drop into their Bhive storage bank and whether to make them public or not. However, the Bhive system goes beyond existing Remote Access technologies in that the submitted storage capacities can then be joined into groups and those groups bundled together into farms, whereby the joint submitted storage is then accessible as a whole for all of its involved members to enjoy at will. Much like a social networking of storage capacities, this newly intertwined virtual community will redefine how people interact with each other.
